Mekatek Limited provide a full range of treatment and / or recovery services for the following waste materials in Bulk or in packaged format, producing a final effluent of suitable quality to be discharged directly to watercourse.

· Contaminated waters and sludges Including landfill leachates, pre-treated effluent, cooling tower waters, surface and subsurface waters, other low hazard aqueous effluent e.g. industrial tank washings.

· Animal processing wastes Including aqueous process waste containing blood fats and greases, animal excrement, and bedding material. All material must comply with any legislation covering the disposal of specified bovine risk material (if applicable).

· Food processing wastes Including aqueous biodegradable effluent (treated and non-treated) from the food processing industry.

· Domestic effluent Including the contents of domestic and commercial cesspits and septic tanks.

· Soluble oils, cooling waters and alkaline cleaners Including soluble oil emulsions, cooling oily water and alkaline cleaning solutions.

· Oils, oily waters, interceptor wastes and sludges Including mineral oils, kerosene, derv, fuel oil, vegetable and other oils, oil and water mixtures, interceptor wastes, general silts and sludges e.g. from drain cleaning.

· Pharmaceutical and cosmetic wastes Including soaps and detergents, aqueous waste containing inactive pharmaceutical products, and by-products from the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

· Miscellaneous biodegradable chemical wastes Including mixed organic compounds containing ethanol, methanol, butanol, propanol, glycols, and many other aqueous biodegradable compounds.

· Caustic wastes Aqueous caustic waste with no List I or II substances.

· Neutralised / low strength Acids such as acid rinses and  phosphoric acid solutions can be accepted in bulk for treatment.
